THE ACTUAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE COMMUNICATE SHALL BE UPLOADED AS SOON AS THE MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION ANNOUNCES.

HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
HIGHER TEACHER TRAINING COLLEDGE HTTC ENS BAMBILI ENTRANCE EXAMINATION INTO FIRST YEAR OF THE FIRST CYCLE
Article 1 : LAUNCHING OF THE EXAMINATION INTO FIRST CYCLE OF HTTC ENS BAMBILI 2021
A competitive entrance examination into year one of the First Cycle of the Higher Teachers’ Training College Bambili, the University of Bamenda, for the 2020/2021 academic year has been launched in the following Departments and in accordance with the number of places available as shown in the table below
Article 2: WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO SIT FOR THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
i) The examination shall be organized in one sitting to Cameroonians of both sexes, holders of the Baccalauréat and Probatoire who obtained an average of at least 10/20 in the chosen field or department or GCE A/L in at least two papers including the principal subject of the specialty, and GCE O/L with pass in at least four subjects, excluding “religious knowledge.”
ii) The department of bilingual letters shall be open only to holders of GCE A in French level and Baccalaureat A4 who obtained a pass a pass of at least 12/20 who in English and fulfill the other requirements
iii)The department of French Modern Letters is open to candidates of Baccalaureat A4 who meet the other requirements
iv) Foreign candidates may be allowed to sit for the examination in the same academic conditions within the limits of the available places, in conformity with the regulations in force
v) Candidates who are not civil servants should not be more than 30 years old as of 1st January 2020.
vi) The table below shows the required certificates to qualify for the competitive entrance examination

Article 3: REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS INTO HIGHER TEACHER TRAINING COLLEDGE HTTC ENS BAMBILI ENTRANCE EXAMINATION INTO FIRST YEAR OF THE FIRST CYCLE
– A registration form to be filed online by the candidate at http://www.httcbambili.net
-A typed certified true photocopy of the birth certificate dated not more than three (3) months.
-Transcripts of Probatoire or GCE O/L and Baccalauréat or GCE A/L signed or certified by the competent School Authority.
-A photocopy of Birth Certificate
-Certified transcripts of GCE A/L and O/L or Baccalaureat and Probatoire dated not more than six(6)
-A certified photocopy of Baccalauréat or GCE A/L or equivalent diploma dated not more than three (3) months. Candidates preparing the Baccalauréat or GCE A/L for 2021session shall present their diploma in due time.
-A medical certificate issued by a medical officer of the administration testifying that the candidate is physically and mentally fit for teaching. It should particularly specify that the candidate does not suffer from serious physiological deficiencies in his diction, hearing, sight and motricity.
-A certificate of non-conviction dated not more than three (3) months;
-A receipt upon payment of twenty thousand (20,000) CFA as non-refundable registration fees delivered by NFC Bank S.A; Account No 0301730101738919 or MTN Mobile Money(HTTC Bambili MTN MOBILE MONEY Account). No other form of payment will be accepted.
-One self-addressed A4 envelope bearing stamps in conformity with the regulations in force.
-Two passport-sized photographs.
-An authorization to sit for the examination issued by the Minister of Basic Education, the Minister of Secondary Education MINESEC or the Minister of Higher Education MINESUP for candidates working in those Ministries.
Article 4: LATEST DATE FOR REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF FILES HTTC ENS BAMBILI 2021 FIRST CYCLE
Complete files should be submitted to HTTC – ENS Bambili; the university of Bamenda or the regional delegations of Secondary Education, latest Wednesday 14th October 2020.
Article 5: ALLOCATION OF MARKS
The examination shall comprise:
-Two written papers (90% of the total assessment)
-Study of documents (10% of the total assessment)
The study of candidates’ file will be based on:
-The candidate‘s age.
-The number of years spent in Secondary Education.
-Transcripts of Probatoire, GCE O/L and that of Baccalaureate or GCE A/L.
-The final results shall be published by the Minister of Higher education after deliberations by the Jury.
Article 6: WRITING DATE FOR HTTC ENS BAMBILI 2021
The written part of the examination will take place on Saturday 17th October 2020
In the following examination centers; Bafoussam, Bambili, Buea, Douala, Ngaoundere and Yaounde.
Article 7: ELEMENTS ALLOWED TO USE AND WRITE THE EXAMINATION
Calculators and mobile phones will not be allowed in the examination rooms .Culprits will be immediately expelled from the examination hall.
Article 8: PREPARATION SYLLABUS FOR HTTC ENS BAMBILI FIRST CYCLE
The syllabus of the competitive entrance examination in each Option are the same as in the Baccalaureat or GCE A/L programs.
Article 9: PUBLICATION OF RESULTS
The Jury shall prepare the list of successful candidates following the different series and in order of meritsfor publication by the Minister of Higher Education
Article 10: ELEMINATION MARK
Written examinations are scored on 20 points. Any score below 05 points is eliminatory.
Article 12: MEMBERS OF JURY
The composition of the jury mentioned in article 9 will be the prerogative of the Minister of Higher Education.
Article 13
The vice chancellor of the university of Bamenda, the director of University Accreditations and Quality and the Director of the Higher Teachers’ Training College(H.T.T.C) of the University of Bamenda in Bambili, each in his/her own sphere, are responsible for the implementation of this order which shall be registered and published in English and French wherever necessary.
