Mebe Ngo’o Cameroon former Minister of Defense has been sentenced to 30 years and his wife gets a ten years in prison

It has been about for years since the arrest of the former minister of Cameroon Mebe Ngo’o for the embezzlement of the public fund.

On 31st January 2023, Edgard Alain MEBE NGO’O was found guilty of overbilling of contract for military equipment worth almost 23.9 billion FCFA at The Special Criminal Court (TCS) in Cameroon (Yaoundé).

 Edgard Alain MEBE NGO’O has been sentenced to 30 years in prison

And wife Bernadette Mebe Ngo’o gets 10 years in jail as an accomplice.

Other accomplices are Colonel Ghislain Mboutou Elle and Maxime Mbangue, sentenced to 25 years imprisonment and Victor Menyen 09 years in prison.
