A young lady has spoken on the idea of women associating the success of a relationship with how much money or gifts they get from their partners.

According to Nimu Kairie, girls believe that the only way they can feel loved is if they are paid, and she attributed the reason this belief to poverty.

Making the statement via Twitter, Kairies wrote; “Poverty has made girls think that they need to be paid to be loved.”


In other news, Grammy-nominated artiste, Burna Boy has responded to South African singer, Sho Madjozi after she accused him of bullying her over her collaboration with UK music acts, Stormzy and Ed Sheeran, alleging that he’s responsible for bringing down her song.

Sho Madjozi had taken to Twitter to accuse Burna Boy of trying to bully her by ordering for the remix of Stormzy’s “Own It” which features her be taken down.

She claimed that Burna Boy did this because he felt threatened by her as they were both nominated for the Best International Act category at the forthcoming 2020 BET awards
